Dr. McClees is a certified Pilates instructor and has been integrating Pilates into her physical therapy practice since she became a licensed physical therapist. She implements these fitness programs into her physical therapy sessions because they improve movement and motor control necessary to prevent injury, enhance performance and increase fitness efficiency. Pilates sessions at PM Method will focus on alignment, strength, flexibility, and endurance helping clients achieve their physical and fitness goals in a supportive environment.

How does Pilates factor into PM Method?

PM Method is not able to take insurance at this time. However, many insurance companies will reimburse for physical therapy care that is “out of network.” Contact us for a consultation, and we can walk through your needs and figure out the best plan for you.

Do you take insurance?

We strive to create a welcoming environment for every client. PM Method works to create effective, personalized fitness, prevention and treatment plans for anyone with an active lifestyle. Set up an evaluation and let Dr. McClees put together the right plan for you!

How can PM Method benefit someone who doesn’t need post-operative or injury rehabilitation?

PM Method gives clients the opportunity to fully explore their potential during one-on-one sessions with an experienced, fully-licensed physical therapist. If you’re unsatisfied with your current fitness or physical therapy plan, feel like you need to try a different approach, or want to spend more focused time with a therapist, PM Method is for you!

Why should I consider PM Method for my physical therapy and fitness needs?

Each session or appointment is about an hour. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early for your physical therapy appointments to fill out required paperwork.

How long does a session typically last?

PM Method has designated parking spots in the back of the studio for our clients to use during their sessions. Village parking is also available along Cahaba Road. Click here for a map to our studio!

Where should I park?

For each session, be sure to wear clothes you can feel comfortable moving around in. Most clients should wear athletic clothing and shoes. If you’re scheduled for physical therapy treatment, please wear clothing that gives access to the injured area to allow for specific attention.
